Her music is categorized as folk, alternative and rock, but it also has hints of jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist legend and Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the women's first artists of the 90s, she founded her own record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who met while attending an institution called the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. DiFranco made an apology public in 2013, following the revelation that it emerged that she had set up a three-day workshop on the Louisiana plantation. The workshop was cancelled, but many (including the author of this article) did not show any remorse. DiFranco offered a second apology a few days later. While she's best known by the name of Little Folksinger, her style encompasses many different styles. The collaborators she has with her include Pete Seeger and Chuck D to Prince. DiFranco is admitting that, nearly three decades after her first appearance in the world of music, she has mixed feelings when looking back. Ani DiFranco rose to iconic status as a songwriter/singer and punk/folk at the age 25, both in the eyes of both fans and critics with Not A Pretty Girl.
