Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster and documentary film maker. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has won prizes for her efforts at Santa Clara County California was born October 19, 1979. She graduated from University of California with a master's degree in communication and sociology. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. She was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition provided a fantastic slingshot for her career in entertainment. In the following years, she was an actress, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and film-director. Sun has worked as a reporter on several news networks, mostly in the role of anchor. Sun was employed by Fox Sports Net as a reporter in 2003. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the 2014 season. She was the first Asian American to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has starred in many movies and received fame and praise for her acting talent. Sun has appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film that focused on the impact of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it all by herself.
