Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop style after she drew the attention of people through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream, and an aptitude of writing songs with emotional inspiring lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront in the world of mainstream and artistic independent music. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a contract. Her debut album was ready for release.
