Sadoski's award-winning stage career began as an understudy to Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rosenthal and Mark Rosenthal in an Off-Broadway production of Kenneth L. Lonergan's play This is Our Youth at Second Stage Theatre. This production marked the beginning of many more for the New York-based theater group. He has appeared in many Broadway and Off Broadway productions and has also appeared in numerous productions in regional theaters. In 2008, he originated the role as Greg in Neil LaBute's play Reasons to be gorgeous for MCC Theatre alongside The Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. After a sell-out Off-Broadway production It was then transferred to Broadway in April 2009. The show received three Tony Award nominations, including Best actor and Best actress: Marin Ireland, and three Drama Desk Award nominations for Best actor and Best Director: Terry Kinney. 6. Neil LaBute credits Sadoski for being the catalyst for the widely praised shift in tone and the reason to be pretty from the earlier work of the playwright, by saying: "His own thoughtfulness and kindness helped me not rely on my previous work prior to that. After a sell-out Off-Broadway performance in November of 2011 the show was transferred to Broadway and was recognized as an the title of Outstanding New Off-Broadway performance by the Outer Critics Circle. Sadoski was also seen on Broadway with Ben Stiller and Edie Falco.
